One-off Italian sofa in chrome and perspex.  We recently re-upholstered this piece using two-tone black and off-white chenille fabric which really shows off the perspex structure to its best. When the cushions are removed one can see the white leather and black lining platform support which shows just how expensive it must have been when new and how well it is made.  We replaced the padding and the springs together with the lining but kept the original white leather.  Consequently, this sofa is both fantiscally comfortable yet very original to look at. 

We have never seen another piece of furniture like this - it is truly unique.  If you have seen anything similar, we'd love to hear from you with some information as we'd like to know the name of the designer.  It would look great in either a retro-modern or art deco home. The chenille material we've used is very hard-wearing (120,000 rub test) so it would be suitable in a stylish bar or restaurant too.

There is some light surface scratching to the arms (you'd only really notice on close inspection), the chrome is in very good and all original.  Overall this two seater sofa is very good indeed - it has a nice vintage patina and looks great.  You're welcome to drop by and check the condition for yourself - we'll deliver for free to anywhere within the M25 and by arrangement to anywhere in the world.
