In this time of ‘green’ consumerism, it makes sense to put a bit of love and attention into the furniture items we already own, rather than buying new pieces. With this in mind, our restoration service is here to help. We are able to carry out French polishing, wood turning, veneering and carving in our workshop. We can rescue items needing disaster work too – including water damage, fire damage or cracking caused by central heating. We are here to help.
With all the skills to restore antique furniture, it comes as no surprise that we also create bespoke, high quality furniture and soft furnishings on a one-off basis. We manufacture finely finished individual pieces to exacting standards – using solid hardwoods, modern or traditional materials – made to your design. Whether you would like a dresser to fit a particular space, a chair in the Arts and Crafts style to match the wood of your existing furniture, or a contemporary sofa made to exact dimensions in leather and stainless steel, Solomon Upholstery has all the facilities and skills to realise your designs.
